Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy describes the terms under which purchases, listings, and deals on CarLo may be cancelled. Please read this policy carefully before making any transaction on the platform.
1. Boost Plan Cancellations
Boost plans are non-refundable once activated. Once a boost is live and your listing is being promoted, the plan cannot be cancelled and no refund will be issued for the remaining duration.
Exception for Technical Errors: If a boost fails to activate due to a verified technical error on CarLo's side, you may request a cancellation and refund within 24 hours of the failed purchase. Contact us at support@mycarlo.net with your Razorpay transaction ID as proof.
Boost plans that expire naturally at the end of their duration are not eligible for any refund or extension unless a technical issue is confirmed by the CarLo team.
2. Deal Cancellations
A "deal" on CarLo refers to the agreement between a buyer and seller facilitated through the CarLo platform. The following cancellation terms apply:
- Before deal verification: Either the buyer or seller may cancel a deal before CarLo's admin has verified and approved the sale. No penalty applies.
- Seller cancellation: Sellers wishing to cancel a submitted "Mark as Sold" request must contact CarLo support at support@mycarlo.net before admin approval. The listing will be reinstated to active status.
- Buyer cancellation: Buyers wishing to cancel a deal-in-progress must contact CarLo directly. CarLo will relay the cancellation to the seller and update the listing status accordingly.
- After admin approval: Once CarLo's admin has verified and approved a sale (Sold – Verified status), the deal cannot be cancelled through the platform. Any disputes after this point are subject to CarLo Mediation (see Section 4).
3. Refund Timeline
Where a refund is approved by CarLo (for verified technical errors on boost plans), the following timeline applies:
- Refund requests must be raised within 24 hours of the transaction.
- CarLo will review and approve or reject the refund request within 2–3 business days.
- Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Razorpay within 5–7 business days from approval.
- CarLo is not responsible for delays caused by Razorpay's processing timelines or banking systems.
4. CarLo Mediation
CarLo acts as a neutral mediator for all cancellation and deal disputes between buyers and sellers. The following principles govern mediation:
- CarLo will review all submitted evidence from both parties before making a decision.
- The final decision on any dispute rests with the CarLo team and is binding on both parties using the platform.
- CarLo is not a party to the transaction itself and is not financially liable for any amounts exchanged between buyers and sellers.
- Mediation decisions will be communicated to all parties via email within 3–5 business days of a formal dispute being raised.
5. Platform Fee Cancellation
CarLo charges a platform fee of 2% for private sellers and 3% for dealers on successful, verified deals. This fee is non-refundable once a deal has been verified and approved by CarLo. If a deal is cancelled before verification, no platform fee is charged.
